HR Manager – Manufacturing Business

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in County Mayo. The role offers a hands‑on, varied remit covering recruitment, employee relations, performance management and health & safety, working closely with senior management to support workforce planning and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding across the organisation.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Advise managers on HR policies, Irish employment legislation and best practice.
• Support employee engagement, retention and performance management initiatives.
• Coordinate training and development programmes.
• Maintain HR records, reporting systems and compliance documentation.
• Assist with health & safety compliance and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role.
• Strong recruitment and talent acquisition background.
• Extensive knowledge of employee relations and Irish employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Manufacturing experience desirable; health & safety experience an advantage.
