HR Onboarding Specialist – Contract Role

About the role

Glenveagh is seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist on a contract basis to support day‑to‑day HR operations. You will be responsible for delivering a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, assisting with recruitment administration, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with new hires to deliver an effective onboarding and induction process.
• Monitor onboarding progress, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Communicate onboarding status to managers and stakeholders and propose improvements.
• Maintain employee files and support HR team initiatives related to engagement, EVP and wellbeing.
• Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns, including job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling and reference checks.
• Update and manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and handle shared inboxes.
• Issue contracts of employment and perform other general HR admin tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in HR or completion of HR studies with a college placement.
• Basic Excel proficiency.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Degree in HR, Business or related field is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a similar HR team role and proven relationship‑building skills are a plus.
