Human Resources Business Partner – 15‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our client in Tralee, County Kerry. The role will work closely with managers and employees to deliver strategic and operational HR services, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide expert HR advice and guidance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee retention initiatives.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance and performance processes.
• Advise on employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
• Assist with workforce planning, succession planning and organisational change.
• Promote employee engagement, wellbeing and learning initiatives.
• Analyse HR data and prepare reports to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• CIPD qualification or working towards accreditation (desirable).
• Previous experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What we offer
