Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a senior HR Business Partner to lead the people function for a fast‑growing Irish‑owned logistics and supply‑chain organisation operating across Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape a scalable HR strategy that supports rapid expansion while fostering an entrepreneurial and accountable culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR activities across Ireland, the UK and other regions.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, employee relations and compliance.
• Improve HR systems, processes and reporting to increase efficiency.
• Support leadership and middle‑management development programmes.
• Build succession planning and organisational capability.
• Design engagement initiatives tailored to an operational workforce.
• Oversee external HR and legal partners.
• Develop a people strategy aligned with the company’s growth plans.

Required profile

• Experienced HR professional with strong operational and commercial acumen.
• Background in logistics, manufacturing or similar sectors is a plus.
• Senior HR generalist or lead experience.
• Deep knowledge of employment law and HR operations.
• Proven experience scaling or evolving organisations.
• Credible stakeholder management and high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to balance hands‑on delivery with strategic input.
• Track record of process and systems improvement.
• Resilient, collaborative and pragmatic approach.
