Incident Response Team Analyst – Law Enforcement & Physical Security

About the role

Meta is seeking a short‑term Incident Response Team Analyst to join its EMEA legal team. The analyst will support time‑critical emergency escalations, working closely with law enforcement and internal partners to protect user safety and mitigate real‑world harm.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess inbound emergency escalations, making rapid decisions based on risk, sensitivity, and graphic content.
• Coordinate responses with internal teams, law enforcement agencies, and government bodies.
• Provide clear, concise answers to inquiries about incident response policies and processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve policies and operational procedures.
• Participate in a rotating weekend on‑call schedule.
• Handle potentially graphic or objectionable content, including child exploitation, violence, and self‑injury material.

Required profile

• Proven ability to make independent, high‑impact decisions and prioritize urgent tasks.
• 2+ years experience analyzing information to assess imminent risk or threats to life.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to law enforcement, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience working with graphic or objectionable content in a compliance or security context.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, analytical tools, and online research methods.
