Information Technology Specialist – IT & IS

About the role

We are seeking an Information Technology Specialist to join a leading financial services organisation in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will help shape the Group Target Operating Model and develop key operational IT and security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver operational, support and end‑user communication for owned applications and shared services.
• Assist with IT change, adoption and project portfolio management activities.
• Provide support to IT Supply & Contract, Economics, Workplace Strategy and Project Management functions.
• Manage incident, change and adoption processes in collaboration with the external IT service provider.
• Oversee third‑party business application management through ITSM processes, including fit‑gap assessments.
• Support Identity and Access Management operations, segregation of duties matrices, and user access provisioning.
• Execute information‑security tasks such as vulnerability management, cloud security posture, and third‑party cyber‑risk management.
• Maintain and test the IT Service Continuity Management framework, including DR reporting.
• Define AI use cases and support technical implementation, as well as cookie compliance for web portals.

Required profile

• Level‑7 degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT/Information Security operations.
• ITIL Foundation (advantageous) and CompTIA CySA+ (advantageous) certifications.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, IT, and Information Security processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and translate complex technical topics into plain language.
