Instructor – Training & Development for Learners

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Instructor to deliver and coordinate QQI‑accredited training programmes for learners with disabilities. The role involves guiding participants toward realistic vocational choices and supporting their progression to further education or employment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver and assess QQI Level 3‑6 modules.
• Provide systematic training according to specified curricula.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure quality assurance compliance.
• Assist learners with additional support needs in exploring career and educational pathways.
• Facilitate a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification, preferably in Education or Training.
• Train‑the‑Trainer qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
• Knowledge of QQI programme requirements, assessment procedures and quality assurance.
• Several years of experience working with adult learners in educational or developmental settings.
• Experience delivering QQI‑accredited modules to adult learners.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently with confidence.
