Internal Audit Associate Director

About the role

Davy is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Associate Director to join its expanding Internal Audit team. You will work on a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting senior leadership and contributing to the overall audit strategy across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing internal audit team through coaching, performance management and role‑modelling of values.
• Assist the Chief Internal Auditor in creating and delivering the annual audit plan and meeting stakeholder expectations.
• Represent the Internal Audit function at Board, Management Committee and senior‑management forums, deputising for the Chief Internal Auditor as required.
• Drive the implementation of digital audit, data analytics and visualisation within the audit methodology.
• Plan and execute risk‑based audits of operational and financial processes, evaluating governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Manage external subject‑matter experts for co‑sourced audit projects.
• Produce clear oral and written audit reports with practical recommendations.
• Support business units in risk identification and control advice.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in internal audit or a related risk function.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with audit committees and senior executives.
• Ability to mentor and develop audit professionals.
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills for evaluating control effectiveness.
