Internal Audit Senior Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Senior Associate to join our expanding Internal Audit team within a well‑established financial services organisation. The role will support the delivery of the internal audit strategy and help strengthen the company’s control framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of the annual internal audit plan in collaboration with audit leadership and business stakeholders.
• Plan and execute internal audit assignments covering operational and financial risk areas, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare clear, practical audit reports with actionable recommendations to improve risk management and controls.
• Contribute to the evolution of the internal audit function, including initiatives around digital audit, data analytics and reporting tools.

Required profile

• Newly qualified accountant or internal auditor (ACA) with relevant audit experience.
• Minimum two years’ experience in internal audit, external audit or a related risk/assurance role.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, corporate governance and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple assignments and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
