IT & AV Support Engineer

About the role

The IT & AV Support Engineer is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and professional technical assistance to both internal employees and external trainers. The role combines traditional desktop support with audio‑visual management for a Learning & Development Centre, ensuring smooth operation of all IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT Service Desk tickets, documenting issues in the ticketing system.
• Provide on‑site hardware, software and network support, including setup of laptops, phones and lifecycle management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment in meeting and training rooms.
• Support remote users via VPN and remote‑desktop solutions.
• Assist visiting staff and trainers at the Learning Centre, ensuring all IT needs are met for training sessions.
• Visit project sites to resolve hardware, printing, networking and Wi‑Fi issues and help with site setup or decommissioning.
• Collaborate with the IT team on policy improvements, training, and company‑wide compliance projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a desktop support environment.
• Strong adaptability, initiative and a drive to deliver quality service quickly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
