IT Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated IT professional to deliver on‑site Level 2 support for manufacturing and R&D environments. The role works closely with IT Business Partners and Global IT to keep systems secure, efficient and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, operating systems, antivirus solutions and manufacturing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents, documenting actions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with the integration of shop‑floor and machine‑level systems in line with Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Advanced Operations and R&D teams to ensure seamless system performance.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and promote shift‑left support practices.
• Maintain IT security compliance through patch management, antivirus updates and firewall configuration.
• Participate in global IT projects and support enterprise‑wide system adoption.
• Support incident, problem, change and asset management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within manufacturing or R&D.
• ITIL Foundation certification (required); Industry 4.0 or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Office 365) – preferred.
