IT Support Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Administrator to join our Cork office. The role involves delivering 1st and 2nd line support to internal users, managing IT assets and contributing to security initiatives. Ideal candidates have 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in a service‑desk environment and enjoy solving technical problems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support, resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and related applications.
• Assist with user management in Azure Active Directory.
• Support Microsoft Intune for device security and compliance.
• Handle service requests via ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, JIRA or ManageEngine.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Wi‑Fi).
• Issue, track and receive IT assets, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Maintain hardware lifecycle management and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and document troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve complex issues and support IT security initiatives.

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience in an IT support or service‑desk role.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude with proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Desirable certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
