IT Support Engineer – Help Desk (Cork)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a leading professional services organisation in Cork. The role will be the primary on‑site IT presence, delivering first‑ and second‑line support to a diverse user base while collaborating with a central technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support user onboarding and off‑boarding, including device provisioning and access management.
• Troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, networking and endpoint issues.
• Maintain meeting‑room AV equipment and related technology.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and technology roll‑outs.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records and knowledge‑base articles.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk or Desktop Support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 11.
• Experience supporting end users in a corporate environment.
• Good communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
