IT Support Engineer

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an IT Support Engineer to ensure its Dublin office runs without friction. You will provide hands‑on support for a predominantly macOS environment, help scale onboarding processes, and collaborate with IT Engineering and Security teams. The role offers real ownership, the chance to automate repetitive tasks, and the opportunity to grow into more technical infrastructure work.

Key responsibilities

• Triage and resolve hardware, software, networking, and account issues via ticketing system, Slack, and in‑person.
• Diagnose and fix problems on macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian).
• Manage device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement.
• Support access management and employee lifecycle workflows (onboarding, off‑boarding, re‑orgs).
• Handle escalations requiring cross‑team coordination.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for urgent after‑hours issues.
• Provide on‑site support for AV systems, conference rooms, and printers.
• Write and maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Identify recurring support patterns and propose automation opportunities.
• Contribute to automation scripts (Bash, Python) and improve device‑management, identity, and access systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on IT support experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience supporting macOS endpoints and familiarity with ChromeOS, iOS, and Android.
• Background in Google Workspace and Slack administration.
• Understanding of identity and access fundamentals (SSO, MFA, directory services).
• Basic knowledge of MDM and endpoint management concepts.
