IT Support Technician

About the role

The IT Support Technician ensures technical and quality standards are met while delivering high customer satisfaction. You will work directly with clients to identify issues, implement solutions and minimise operational disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to diagnose problems and develop effective technical solutions.
• Respond to or escalate support calls within defined timeframes.
• Install, configure and maintain client systems, including PCs and mobile phones.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, spotting opportunities to expand service agreements.
• Assist in creating test and repair processes and liaise with help desks and support centres.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution on a variety of hardware and software issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.
• Comfortable using mobile tools and applications.

Required skills

• PC hardware installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Mobile device (smartphone/tablet) support and troubleshooting.
