IT Systems Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to support and maintain a modern hybrid IT environment. The role combines hands‑on support, cloud administration, identity and access management, and process improvement to keep systems secure, reliable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Manage user accounts, permissions and access across Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace and business applications.
• Administer endpoint management platforms, including device enrollment, software deployment and security policies (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
• Support Single Sign‑On, identity federation (SAML, OIDC) and authentication services for SaaS applications.
• Handle user onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, access and security issues.
• Maintain VPN, password management and remote‑access solutions.
• Develop and improve automation, workflows and integrations across cloud platforms.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, phishing incidents and access‑related issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and user guides.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the user experience.

Required profile

• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Proven ability to manage Google Workspace in a hybrid environment.
• Solid knowledge of SSO technologies and identity federation (SAML, OIDC).
• Experience with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune.
• Hands‑on support experience for Windows and Mac devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, applications, networking and authentication.
• Experience delivering support in fast‑paced business settings.
• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks.
• Background in cloud‑first environments and IT transformation projects.
