Junior Project Manager – Environmental & Compliance Projects

About the role

The Junior Project Manager will support the delivery of environmental and compliance projects across Ireland, from client engagement to project close‑out. Working under senior colleagues, you will coordinate activities, communicate with stakeholders and help ensure that timelines and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining project scope, developing plans and setting realistic timelines.
• Monitor progress against milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, supporting clear communication and expectation management.
• Coordinate internal resources and oversee task execution to required standards.
• Identify potential risks, support mitigation strategies and help resolve issues.
• Prepare project updates, progress reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory, environmental and client standards.
• Support project closure activities, including final documentation and formal close‑out procedures.
• Travel across Ireland for site visits, field work and client meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, environmental services or compliance (placements considered).
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and solution‑focused.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
