Junior Software Developer (Web & Mobile)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join Dairymaster’s Global Headquarters in Tralee. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers, gaining hands‑on experience across the full technology stack – from responsive web interfaces to server‑side services and native mobile apps.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern front‑end components using TypeScript, Angular or React and Node.js.
• Write clean, scalable back‑end services in C# (.NET Core), Java or Kotlin, interacting with MySQL and AWS.
• Build native iOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI and SwiftPM, and support legacy Objective‑C code.
• Collaborate on code reviews, refactoring, and technical‑debt reduction initiatives.
• Translate functional requirements into functional code and unit tests.

Required profile

• Graduate or entry‑level candidate with a solid foundation in computer‑science fundamentals.
• Experience with Git version control and basic exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
• Ability to read Objective‑C and familiarity with Android/Java environments.
• Strong logical problem‑solving skills and quick learning ability.
• Willingness to switch between backend, frontend and mobile contexts.
