About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant at Sprout you will be an essential part of the daily operations, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, stays spotless and complies with the highest safety standards. No prior experience is required – a positive attitude, love for food and a strong work ethic are the key ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the kitchen for service, including set‑up and dishwashing.
• Follow cleaning checklists to keep every surface, tool and corner immaculate.
• Adhere to prep procedures and kitchen SOPs for efficient workflow.
• Implement food safety and allergen protocols rigorously.
• Support health and safety initiatives alongside the General Manager.
• Assist the wider team during busy periods, especially the lunch rush.
