Kitchen Assistant – Part‑time

About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant you will be an essential member of the kitchen team, supporting chefs and ensuring the workspace remains spotless, safe and efficient. No prior experience is required – a positive attitude, love for food and a strong work ethic are the key ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the kitchen for each service, setting up stations and equipment.
• Follow detailed cleaning checklists to keep every surface, tool and corner immaculate.
• Adhere to prep procedures and kitchen SOPs to maintain smooth operations.
• Observe food‑safety and allergen protocols rigorously.
• Assist with health and safety measures, keeping the environment safe for all staff.
• Provide extra help during busy periods, especially the lunch rush, to the wider team.
