About the role

As a Kitchen Porter at Hawksmoor Dublin you will be an essential part of the back‑of‑house team, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This fast‑paced, hands‑on role supports chefs during service and contributes to a safe, organised work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and organised throughout service.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation and general tasks when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling responsibly.
• Help with deliveries, stock organisation and inventory checks.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• Reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in.
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong team player who takes pride in doing things properly.
• Organised and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Previous kitchen experience helpful but not essential – full training provided.

Required skills

• Dishwashing and cleaning techniques.
• Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
• Waste management and recycling procedures.
