Land Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Land Surveyor to join a leading engineering contractor on a high‑profile industrial project in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. You will work closely with site management and engineering teams, applying modern surveying technology to ensure accurate setting‑out and verification of building elements throughout construction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out precise setting‑out of building elements according to construction drawings.
• Perform ongoing surveys to verify spatial accuracy of installations.
• Generate survey information from digital models and construction data.
• Complete as‑built surveys of finished installations.
• Produce daily reports detailing surveying activities and completed works.
• Verify that installations meet specified construction tolerances.
• Undertake reality capture using 3D laser scanning technology.
• Process survey data and produce outputs for the project team.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with site health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in a construction surveying role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D laser scanning technology.
• Experience using modern surveying equipment and digital construction methods.
