Lead Front-End Developer

About the role

As a Lead Front-End Developer at The Dock, Accenture’s flagship R&D hub in Dublin, you will own the creation of user‑facing features and shape the overall front‑end experience for cutting‑edge AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with product designers and managers to turn concepts into functional features.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle from prototyping to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Participate in architecture discussions and help select appropriate tools and technologies.
• Mentor team members and champion best practices in front‑end engineering.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering modern web applications in agile, highly collaborative environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with at least one modern front‑end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Solid background integrating front‑end code with RESTful back‑end services, with a focus on accessibility, performance and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, version control and modern build tools.
• Understanding of design systems, component‑driven development and UX principles; exposure to cloud, containerisation or GenAI is a plus.
