Learning & Development Lead – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Lead to join the HR team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working closely with the wider Talent team, you will design, coordinate and facilitate learning initiatives that build capability for employees and leaders across the organisation. The role blends strategic programme development with hands‑on delivery, ideal for a senior L&D professional who enjoys the full learning lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging learning programmes for staff at all levels.
• Facilitate virtual and classroom‑based workshops, webinars and training sessions.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end programme delivery, including scheduling, communications, enrolment and logistics.
• Create high‑quality learning materials such as facilitator guides, workbooks and digital content.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to identify capability gaps and recommend solutions.
• Support leadership development, early‑career programmes and broader capability initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor on learning and career development opportunities.
• Manage relationships with external learning providers and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Analyse learning data and report on programme effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development or HR.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programmes.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Learning Management System (LMS) administration and reporting.
