Learning & Development Program Coordinator

About the role

The Learning & Development Program Coordinator will oversee the end‑to‑end training lifecycle for the site, ensuring that all learning activities are documented, compliant, and effective. This individual contributor role supports continuous professional growth by managing induction programs, maintaining the Learning Management System, and driving process improvements across the L&D function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full training lifecycle, from delivery to documentation and effectiveness tracking.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time training records in the LMS and physical files, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate new‑hire inductions and ensure completion of mandatory site training.
• Perform daily data entry to keep skills matrices current and audit‑ready.
• Oversee vendor relationships, monitor invoices, and ensure program compliance.
• Administer financial assistance processes, including tracking applications and reimbursements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required L&D documentation.
• Administer the Further Education Assistance program, handling applications, approvals, and reimbursements.
• Deliver classroom training modules using standard instructional design models.
• Monitor weekly training reports, analyse trends, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• QQI Level 7 qualification in Human Resources, Training, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar L&D or training administration role.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain audit‑ready records.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating inductions and delivering training.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for record‑keeping and reporting.
