Learning & Development Programme Lead (Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Programme Lead on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract to drive professional development initiatives across the organisation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, you will own the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of flagship learning programmes and onboarding activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end management of learning and development programmes, from planning and design through to delivery and evaluation.
• Coordinate and deliver professional development and onboarding programmes.
• Manage programme timelines, communications, logistics, and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor programme effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers where required.
• Support and mentor junior members of the Learning & Development team.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of innovative learning solutions and initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing learning and development programmes from concept through to evaluation.
• Strong project and programme management skills.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions‑focused approach.
• Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues within a team environment.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
