Learning & Development Specialist – Fraud Focus (Fintech)

About the role

As a Learning & Development Specialist with a fraud focus, you will design, build and deliver training programmes that empower Risk Operations teams to detect fraud, assess risk and ensure compliance. Working on‑site in Cork, you will partner with internal and client stakeholders to translate complex regulatory content into practical, engaging learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop training modules covering AML, fraud review, risk assessment, KYC onboarding and underwriting protocols.
• Create course materials such as manuals, case studies, assessments and interactive exercises that reflect current fraud patterns.
• Deliver dynamic, interactive sessions to new hires and existing staff, adapting delivery style to diverse learner needs.
• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, attendance tracking and equipment setup.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback and continuously improve content.
• Collaborate with client teams across US time zones and internal subject‑matter experts to align training with business priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning‑and‑development or training design, preferably within fintech, risk or compliance environments.
• Strong understanding of fraud detection, AML, KYC and risk management concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex regulatory material.
• Comfortable working on‑site and coordinating with remote stakeholders.
