Leasing Professional – Waterford Place

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive marketing, leasing and renewal activities for Waterford Place, ensuring high occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction. This entry‑level position works closely with the property management team to guide prospects through the leasing process and support existing residents.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needed to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilise property management software to track availability, record leasing activity and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with relatable experience in leasing or customer‑facing roles.
• Affordable housing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Eligibility for incentive‑based bonuses.
• Availability to work Friday‑Tuesday, 9 am‑6 pm (Wednesday and Thursday off).

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
