Legal Consultant – Privacy & Data Protection (12‑month secondment)

About the role

Eudia is seeking a Legal Consultant for a 12‑month secondment starting July 2026. The role is hybrid, with two days per week on‑site in Dublin, and focuses on privacy and data‑protection matters across EMEA and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day privacy and data‑protection advice to legal, compliance, product, operations and management teams.
• Serve as the primary contact for Europe‑related privacy queries and support product launches, third‑party reviews, HR privacy issues, security incidents and data‑subject requests.
• Assist with regulatory engagement, training initiatives and regional board reporting.
• Develop, maintain and enhance the global privacy programme, including DPIAs, documentation and record‑keeping.
• Analyse and map data‑processing activities, re‑work intra‑group data‑sharing agreements and update external contracting arrangements.
• Support a tax‑led corporate restructure involving the relocation of the primary data controller and GDPR main establishment to an Irish entity.
• Review and update privacy policies, transparency notices and internal governance documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with demonstrable experience in privacy and data‑protection law, particularly GDPR.
• Experience advising cross‑functional teams in a multinational environment (EMEA/APAC).
• Ability to handle complex, commercially sensitive projects such as corporate restructures.
