Linux Kernel OS Developer

About the role

We are expanding our Linux Kernel Engineering team and are looking for an experienced developer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of kernel features and device drivers. This mid‑senior position offers the chance to work on high‑impact enterprise systems while mentoring early‑career engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new Linux kernel features, enhancements, and device drivers.
• Analyze and optimize performance in memory management, scheduling, and I/O subsystems.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex kernel‑level issues in collaboration with global and open‑source teams.
• Contribute code upstream to public repositories such as the Linux kernel community.
• Automate testing and maintain system integrity using Git, Python, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with clients to reproduce and solve deep technical challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in low‑level software or kernel development.
• Proven contributions to open‑source projects, preferably the Linux kernel.
• Strong problem‑solving and performance analysis abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C, C++, and Rust.
• Deep understanding of operating system internals: memory management, scheduling, interrupts, device drivers.
• Experience with Git, Bash scripting, and Jenkins automation.
• Knowledge of modern I/O technologies such as PCI, NVMe, and RDMA.
• Familiarity with kernel debugging tools and CI/CD workflows.
