Locum Consultant Physician – Respiratory Medicine

About the role

Beaumont Hospital, a large academic teaching hospital in Dublin, is seeking a Locum Consultant Physician specialising in Respiratory Medicine. This permanent position, working 29.6 hours per week, will serve patients across the Dublin and North East Region under the Public Only Consultants’ Contract 2023.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist respiratory and general internal medicine services to in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Deliver emergency and acute care within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team at Beaumont Hospital and St Joseph’s Hospital Raheny.
• Participate in teaching and research activities associated with the university‑linked teaching hospital.

Required profile

• Registration in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners (Medical Council of Ireland).
• Qualified in Respiratory Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
