Logistics Assistant – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Sigma Wireless Communications is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support daily warehouse operations at its Finglas site. You will play a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Unload and load vehicles, receive inbound goods and verify against purchase orders.
• Conduct quality control inspections on deliveries for defects.
• Update inventory systems and put away stock accurately.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders, ensuring correct labeling and customer notification.
• Monitor stock levels using the stock control system and perform cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, tidy warehouse and adhere to health and safety policies.
• Upload waste electrical & electronic equipment data to the WEEE portal each month.
• Provide overtime support and handle ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to pass Garda security checks.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Knowledge of MRP systems (advantage).
• Manual handling training (advantage).
