Maintenance Fitter – Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic

About the role

Our client, a leading international manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to maximise equipment uptime through planned and preventative maintenance. The position works on a bi‑weekly shift pattern, alternating between day and evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults independently and in collaboration with OEMs, contractors, and suppliers.
• Use the CMMS system to plan, record, and manage preventative, reactive, and project‑related maintenance activities.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and communicate effectively with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Right to work in Ireland and already residing in the country.
• Availability to work the described shift pattern and own transport for commuting.
