Maintenance Supervisor – Shift Based Permanent Role

About the role

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a manufacturing facility on a permanent, shift‑based contract. You will work a rotating shift pattern (6 am–2 pm and 2 pm–10 pm) leading a team that handles electrical, mechanical and general facility maintenance while upholding safety, quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team across all plant areas.
• Organise tasks, support troubleshooting and develop the technical skills of team members.
• Maintain clear communication with production, engineering and other departments and keep accurate shift records.
• Monitor workplace safety processes, identify non‑conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Attend training sessions or meetings outside standard hours when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Foreman, Team Lead or similar supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Recognised qualification as an Electrician or in Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting.
• Strong communication abilities and competence with standard computer applications.
• Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible, team‑oriented and well‑organised.
