Maintenance Technician/Fitter

About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician/Fitter to join JFC’s production team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment to minimise downtime and support overall plant performance.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures and process problems.
- Log maintenance data and perform weekly checks on plant machinery.
- Carry out repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance across the facility.
- Support engineering and production teams with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with mould changes and handling/storage procedures to protect tooling.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in line with H&S policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician/fitter or in preventive maintenance.
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent education.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Organised, self‑motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
