Manager, Safe Fleet Process Owner

About the role

The Manager, Safe Fleet Process Owner leads global fleet and road safety programs for Johnson & Johnson/DePuy Synthes. The role develops policies, investigates incidents, and drives continuous improvement to protect employees, contractors and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain global fleet and road safety policies, procedures and standards.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action processes for fleet/road safety events.
• Analyse fleet safety data, trends and KPIs, report to senior leadership and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate driver training, qualification and safety‑awareness programmes across all regions.
• Manage compliance with local, regional and global transportation and fleet regulations.
• Support sustainability initiatives such as emissions reduction and eco‑driving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Transportation or related field.
• 6‑8+ years of experience in fleet/road safety management or EHS.
• Valid driver’s licence with a good driving history.
• Ability to work cross‑regionally and cross‑functionally.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% domestically and internationally.
