Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre (Relocation to Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced mechanical building services professional to join a global consultancy and lead the design and delivery of mission‑critical data‑centre projects in Dublin, one of Europe’s fastest‑growing data‑centre hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical design for high‑availability data‑centre environments, including cooling, HVAC, ventilation and redundancy systems.
• Act as senior technical point of contact for clients, providing guidance throughout design and delivery phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across global offices, integrating UK best practice with Irish and European standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while expanding own technical and commercial expertise.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in data‑centre or mission‑critical mechanical design within the UK or EU consulting market.
• Willingness to relocate to Dublin (relocation support provided).
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
