Merchandising Finance Analyst (Limerick)

About the role

Sysco Ireland is seeking a proactive and analytical Merchandising Finance Analyst to join its Commercial Finance function in Limerick. Reporting to the Merchandising Finance Manager, you will provide critical commercial support to both Merchandising and Finance teams, helping to optimise performance through data‑driven analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Merchandising and Finance managers on projects, delivering financial expertise and insights.
• Develop and maintain advanced commercial and financial models, tools, and processes.
• Support transformation programme metrics, including Sysco brand and PGM tracking.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for the function.
• Build strong relationships with managers and their teams across the business.
• Handle ad‑hoc analytical requests and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Finance, Financial Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.
• Highly detail‑oriented, results‑driven and self‑motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with database systems and large data sets.
