MES Engineer – Manufacturing Execution Systems

About the role

Business Platforms is seeking a skilled MES Engineer to join its Global MES Team in Cork. You will work on manufacturing execution system projects for pharmaceutical and life‑science clients, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and qualify Master Batch Records (MBR) and recipes in compliance with GxP regulations.
• Develop and execute test protocols for MBR/Recipe validation.
• Configure MES master data, author SOPs and maintain system documentation.
• Conduct design‑review workshops with clients and support end‑users during rollout.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and report to the client Project Manager to ensure milestones are met.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in GxP manufacturing within the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences sector.
• Proven experience on MES projects involving MBR/Recipe design and qualification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Honours Level 8 degree in a technical, science, engineering or business information systems discipline.

• Korber PAS/X (preferred).
• Rockwell PharmaSuite (preferred).
