MICE Sales Manager

About the role

The InterContinental Dublin is seeking an experienced MICE Sales Manager to lead its meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) business across Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will own the domestic market, build strong relationships with corporate accounts and conference agents, and drive revenue growth for the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the domestic MICE sales strategy and activity plan to meet revenue and room‑sale targets.
• Identify, target and convert new meetings and events business from Irish corporate, institutional, association and charity sectors.
• Manage a portfolio of local non‑managed corporate accounts and nurture key industry partnerships.
• Create, update and maintain the Corporate Conference and MICE database, highlighting current and future opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Revenue team to ensure prompt enquiry handling, proposal follow‑up and site inspections.
• Utilise Cvent, Delphi and other systems to generate leads, conduct telesales and perform competitor SWOT analysis.
• Represent the hotel at networking events, seminars and business community gatherings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MICE sales within the Irish hospitality market.
• Strong track record of acquiring and growing corporate event business.
• Excellent relationship‑building and networking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, own a market segment and meet sales targets.
