Network Engineer

About the role

Ekco is looking for an OT Support Engineer to maintain and manage operational technology (OT) systems within a highly regulated environment. You will work on virtual machine infrastructure, user access management, and security initiatives to ensure the integrity and resilience of critical OT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage virtual machines on TS‑managed hardware.
• Onboard and offboard user accounts and groups using IAM processes.
• Facilitate remote access for deployment and support teams.
• Manage user and group permissions to OT resources.
• Ensure backup and recovery of critical OT systems following vendor guidelines.
• Identify and protect GxP data in line with regulatory standards.
• Submit and track IT service requests for network, server, and firewall infrastructure.
• Support OT security initiatives such as IAM, Dirsync, Tanium, Nozomi, USB hardening, application whitelisting, and micro‑segmentation.
• Plan and execute high‑risk remediation, secure segmentation, and firewall lockdown rules.
• Develop low‑level designs, threat‑monitoring processes, and BCP plans for OT systems.

Required profile

• Experience working in a regulated environment with OT or industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance standards (e.g., GxP, ISRM).
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
