About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Neurophysiology Technologist to join Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. The technologist will perform electroencephalogram (EEG) studies and support advanced neuro‑diagnostic services within a busy pediatric environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized EEG recordings, including long‑term monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with the Neurology department to schedule and execute both planned and emergent studies.
- Monitor video‑EEG for in‑patient cases, ensuring continuous high‑quality data capture.
- Provide training and support to ancillary staff to improve patient care pathways.
- Interpret study objectives and communicate implications for patient lifestyle and follow‑up.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in long‑term EEG monitoring or related neurophysiology work.
- Professional training in neurophysiology technology (high‑school diploma minimum).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
