Newly Qualified Accountant – Aviation

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing aviation leader to hire a newly qualified accountant to join a high‑performing finance team. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will support commercial and strategic finance activities while gaining broad exposure to international aviation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full ownership of the trial balance and ensure general ledger integrity.
• Prepare and post accounting journals and transactions within set deadlines.
• Produce management accounts and deliver key financial analysis.
• Drive end‑to‑end preparation of statutory financial statements and coordinate audit activities.
• Review client agreements and determine appropriate accounting treatment.

Required profile

• Newly qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA).
• Experience in an accounting practice or industry; aviation experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with high attention to detail.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
