Night Porter

About the role

Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort is looking for a reliable Night Porter to join the Front Office team during overnight hours. You will be the primary point of contact for guests after hours, ensuring safety, comfort, and a high level of service throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to guests during night shifts.
• Handle check‑ins, check‑outs, room allocations and issue keys as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, deliver messages and arrange wake‑up calls.
• Perform night audit procedures, manage cash handling and prepare safe deposits.
• Conduct regular fire walks and uphold health & safety standards.
• Report incidents, accidents and maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain public areas in a clean, secure and presentable condition.
• Prepare a detailed handover for the morning team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role within a 3‑ or 4‑star hotel (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work night shifts.
• Proficient spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Experience with HotSoft or a comparable hotel management system.
