Night Porter – Part‑time

About the role

The Night Porter works the overnight shift at An Chúirt Hotel, ensuring smooth operations, guest safety, and a welcoming environment. This part‑time role blends customer service, security checks, and light housekeeping duties.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist late‑night arrivals and handle check‑ins.
• Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
• Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises.
• Assist with setting up conference rooms and facilities for morning events.
• Perform light cleaning, maintenance, and preparation for breakfast service.
• Coordinate with reception, housekeeping, and other departments to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Provide a detailed handover to the morning shift, reporting any overnight incidents.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Ireland.
• Good command of the English language.
• Previous experience on night shifts is desirable.
• Reliability and ability to work independently during overnight hours.
