Open Source Engineer – Full Stack & Compliance

About the role

The Open Source Engineering team is looking for a senior engineer to design, develop, and maintain web and micro‑services that streamline open‑source compliance and licensing workflows. You will work closely with internal legal, compliance, and engineering stakeholders to ensure reliable, automated processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build full‑stack applications using Django and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Create and maintain automation pipelines and workflows that optimise the compliance review process.
• Develop integrations with engineering tools, SCM systems, and licensing databases.
• Provide Linux‑based administration, scripting, and troubleshooting support for compliance applications.
• Interact directly with end‑users to gather requirements, resolve issues, and document solutions.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, web services, and micro‑service architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Detail‑oriented with solid documentation practices.

• Git (Perforce experience a plus)
