Operations & Maintenance Assistant (10‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This 10‑month fixed‑term position supports safe and efficient plant operations through administration, procurement, inventory control and day‑to‑day coordination. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented team player who takes ownership of tasks and works closely with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support, including filing and document management.
• Maintain databases, spreadsheets and procurement documentation.
• Prepare plant, material and equipment requisitions following company purchasing procedures and track approvals and deliveries.
• Verify receipt of goods and services, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Assist with unloading, receipt verification and waste off‑loading coordination.
• Manage warehouse activities, organise and control inventory of equipment, spare parts and fixed assets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for waste disposal and fluid supply.

Required profile

• Professional certification or proven experience in administration, document control, procurement policies, supplier management or stock control.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, ethics and confidentiality.
