Operations Manager – Field Services

About the role

Culligan Home is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its field operations team across Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation, servicing and maintenance of water softening and filtration systems for residential customers, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 30‑35 field engineers to achieve high performance and service quality.
• Plan, schedule and deploy engineers to meet installation, service and maintenance demands.
• Develop and implement operational plans that improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, operational performance and service levels, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs and support overall profitability.
• Coach, train and conduct performance management for team members.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Customer Service, HR, Warehouse, Senior Management).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in a service‑focused environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities, especially with field‑based teams.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of operational performance metrics and KPI management.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and operational costs.
• Data‑driven problem‑solving and decision‑making approach.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
