Optometry Partner – Optometrist Director & Store Partner

About the role

Specsavers Ballina is seeking a qualified Optometrist to become the Optometry Director and Store Partner. This senior leadership position combines clinical expertise with business ownership, allowing you to shape the future of the store while serving the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of 16 staff, including resident optometrists and lab personnel.
• Oversee daily optical and audiology services across two test rooms and a dual test room.
• Drive business growth, expand the customer base, and increase profitability.
• Maintain high standards of clinical care using the latest eye‑care technology.
• Collaborate with the experienced retail partner to implement strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified and CORU‑registered Optometrist.
• Proven leadership experience in an optical retail environment.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset and community orientation.
• Willingness to invest in and co‑own the business.

Required skills

• Clinical optometry expertise.
• Knowledge of optical testing equipment and audiology services.
• Business acumen for retail operations.
