Order to Cash Operations Lead

About the role

OpenAI is looking for an experienced Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) lead to scale its EMEA order management, billing and accounts‑receivable operations. As a senior individual contributor, you will own the end‑to‑end order‑to‑invoice lifecycle for an assigned portfolio and drive AI‑enabled process transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full OTC execution, from order intake and validation through billing, invoice review, AR follow‑up and cash application.
• Govern offshore BPO teams, conduct daily queue reviews, enforce SOPs, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Partner with GTM, Deal Desk, Legal, Finance Systems, Product, Engineering and RevOps to resolve blockers and improve handoffs.
• Build and maintain scalable SOPs, playbooks, dashboards and operating cadences to move from person‑dependent execution to repeatable processes.
• Identify and drive automation and AI‑enabled workflow improvements across order validation, invoice accuracy, collections prioritisation and dispute routing.

Required profile

• Strong end‑to‑end OTC foundation with hands‑on experience in order‑to‑invoice and invoice‑to‑cash processes.
• Experience in high‑growth, usage‑based or subscription SaaS environments.
• Proven ability to manage offshore BPO operations, including queue governance and quality checks.
• Audit‑ready mindset with SOX‑aware documentation and control experience.
• Comfort with ambiguity, direct issue ownership and continuous process improvement.
